About us

We live in the heart of the Junction Triangle in Toronto’s west end and we have found balance in our city lives by getting back to our roots. 

And so Backyard Co. was born from our passion for traditional handcrafting and desire to create home essentials that are practical, sustainable and beautiful. Now we would like to share some of the crafts we are most proud of with you. All handmade by us, using natural and ethically sourced materials. From our home to yours.

Our handmade soaps are vegan, organic & palm oil free. Using quality plant based oils and butters, our cold-process soaps are naturally dyed with botanicals, clays and scented with pure essential oils.
